To praise, honor, and glorify God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the
Holy Spirit in deed, in prayer, in communion, in song, and the spoken word
(Worship)
To edify one another through continued fellowship in the desire to better
know the Lord, through Bible study and fellowship activities (Edification)
To do good to everyone as we have opportunity, starting with the believers
(Benevolence)
To share the gospel with people as we go to those near at hand and in an
enlarging circle to the ends of the Earth (Evangelism)
To encourage one another to follow Jesus in ways practical and pure (Holy
Living)
To actively follow the Lord’s prayer (John 17) that his followers “be one,
Father, just as you are in me and I am in you,” to shape our relationship with
one another (Unity)
The churches of Christ are a group of independent churches whose immediate
roots come from what is known as the Restoration movement but whose ancient
roots come from the day of Pentecost which followed the ascension of Jesus
Christ (Acts 2). We seek to be Christians only and not a sect, a cult, nor a
denomination. Our plea is that of nondenominational Christianity based solely on
scripture.
